DANIEL CHAPTER 8
DAN 8:1 In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a
vision appeared unto
me, [even unto] me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at
the first.
<g after> <g appeared> <g belshazzar> <g daniel> <g even>
<g first> <g king> <g reign> <g third> <g vision>
<g which> <g year>
DAN 8:2 And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw,
that I [was] at
Shushan [in] the palace, which [is] in the province of Elam; and
I saw in a
vision, and I was by the river of Ulai. <g came> <g elam> <g
palace>
<g pass> <g province> <g river> <g saw> <g shushan>
<g ulai> <g vision> <g when> <g which>
DAN 8:3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there
stood before the
river a ram which had [two] horns:and the [two] horns [were]
high; but one
[ was] higher than the other, and the higher came up last. <g
before>
<g behold> <g came> <g eyes> <g had> <g high> <g higher>
<g horns> <g last> <g lifted> <g mine> <g one> <g other>
<g ram> <g river> <g saw> <g stood> <g than> <g then>
<g there> <g two> <g which>
DAN 8:4 I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and
southward; so that no
beasts might stand before him, neither [was there any] that
could deliver out
of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
<g any>
<g beasts> <g became> <g before> <g could> <g deliver>
<g did> <g great> <g hand> <g him> <g might> <g neither>
<g no> <g northward> <g pushing> <g ram> <g saw> <g so>
<g southward> <g stand> <g there> <g westward> <g will>
DAN 8:5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from
the west on the
face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground:and the goat
[had] a notable
horn between his eyes. <g behold> <g between> <g came>
<g considering> <g earth> <g eyes> <g face> <g goat>
<g ground> <g had> <g horn> <g notable> <g on> <g touched>
<g west> <g whole>
DAN 8:6 And he came to the ram that had [two] horns, which I had
seen standing
before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power. <g
before>
<g came> <g fury> <g had> <g him> <g horns> <g power>
<g ram> <g ran> <g river> <g seen> <g standing> <g two>
<g which>
DAN 8:7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved
with choler
against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns:and
there was no power
in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the
ground, and stamped
upon him:and there was none that could deliver the ram out of
his hand.
<g against> <g before> <g brake> <g cast> <g choler>
<g close> <g come> <g could> <g deliver> <g down>
<g ground> <g hand> <g him> <g horns> <g moved> <g no>
<g none> <g power> <g ram> <g saw> <g smote> <g stamped>
<g stand> <g there> <g two> <g with>
DAN 8:8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great:and when he was
strong, the great
horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the
four winds of
heaven. <g broken> <g came> <g four> <g goat> <g great>
<g heaven> <g horn> <g notable> <g ones> <g strong>
<g therefore> <g toward> <g very> <g waxed> <g when>
<g winds>
DAN 8:9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which
waxed exceeding
great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the
pleasant [land] .
<g came> <g east> <g exceeding> <g forth> <g great>
<g horn> <g land> <g little> <g one> <g pleasant>
<g south> <g toward> <g waxed> <g which>
DAN 8:10 And it waxed great, [even] to the host of heaven; and
it cast down [
some] of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped
upon them.
<g cast> <g down> <g even> <g great> <g ground> <g heaven>
<g host> <g some> <g stamped> <g stars> <g waxed>
DAN 8:11 Yea, he magnified [himself] even to the prince of the
host, and by him
the daily [sacrifice] was taken away, and the place of his
sanctuary was cast
down. <g away> <g cast> <g daily> <g down> <g even>
<g him> <g himself> <g host> <g magnified> <g place>
<g prince> <g sacrifice> <g sanctuary> <g taken> <g yea>
DAN 8:12 And an host was given [him] against the daily
[sacrifice] by reason
of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and
it practiced, and
prospered. <g against> <g cast> <g daily> <g down> <g given>
<g ground> <g him> <g host> <g practiced> <g prospered>
<g reason> <g sacrifice> <g transgression> <g truth>
DAN 8:13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said
unto that certain
[ saint] which spake, How long [shall be] the vision
[concerning] the daily [
sacrifice] , and the transgression of desolation, to give both
the sanctuary and
the host to be trodden under foot? <g another> <g both> <g
certain>
<g concerning> <g daily> <g desolation> <g foot> <g give>
<g heard> <g host> <g how> <g long> <g one> <g sacrifice>
<g said> <g saint> <g sanctuary> <g spake> <g speaking>
<g then> <g transgression> <g trodden> <g under> <g vision>
<g which>
DAN 8:14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three
hundred days; then shall
the sanctuary be cleansed. <g cleansed> <g days> <g hundred>
<g said> <g sanctuary> <g then> <g thousand> <g three>
<g two>
DAN 8:15 And it came to pass, when I, [even] I Daniel, had seen
the vision, and
sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as
the appearance of
a man. <g appearance> <g before> <g behold> <g came>
<g daniel> <g even> <g had> <g man> <g meaning> <g pass>
<g seen> <g sought> <g stood> <g then> <g there>
<g vision> <g when>
DAN 8:16 And I heard a man's voice between [the banks of] Ulai,
which called,
and said, Gabriel, make this [man] to understand the vision. <g
banks>
<g between> <g called> <g gabriel> <g heard> <g make>
<g man> <g said> <g this> <g ulai> <g understand>
<g vision> <g voice> <g which>
DAN 8:17 So he came near where I stood:and when he came, I was
afraid, and fell
upon my face:but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man:for
at the time of
the end [shall be] the vision. <g afraid> <g came> <g end>
<g face> <g fell> <g man> <g near> <g said> <g so>
<g son> <g stood> <g time> <g understand> <g vision>
<g when> <g where>
DAN 8:18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep
on my face toward
the ground:but he touched me, and set me upright. <g deep> <g
face>
<g ground> <g now> <g on> <g set> <g sleep> <g speaking>
<g touched> <g toward> <g upright> <g with>
DAN 8:19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall
be in the last end
of the indignation:for at the time appointed the end [shall be] .
<g appointed> <g behold> <g end> <g indignation> <g know>
<g last> <g make> <g said> <g time> <g what> <g will>
DAN 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having [two] horns [are] the
kings of Media
and Persia. <g are> <g having> <g horns> <g kings> <g media>
<g persia> <g ram> <g sawest> <g two> <g which>
DAN 8:21 And the rough goat [is] the king of Grecia:and the

is] between his eyes [is] the first king. <g between> <g eyes>
<g first> <g goat> <g great> <g grecia> <g horn> <g king>
<g rough>
DAN 8:22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it,
four kingdoms shall
stand up out of the nation, but not in his power. <g being> <g
broken>
<g four> <g kingdoms> <g nation> <g now> <g power>
<g stand> <g stood> <g whereas>
DAN 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the
transgressors are come
to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding
dark sentences, shall
stand up. <g are> <g come> <g countenance> <g dark> <g fierce>
<g full> <g king> <g kingdom> <g latter> <g sentences>
<g stand> <g time> <g transgressors> <g understanding>
<g when>
DAN 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power:
and he shall
destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall
destroy the mighty
and the holy people. <g destroy> <g holy> <g mighty> <g own>
<g people> <g power> <g practice> <g prosper> <g wonderfully>
DAN 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to
prosper in his hand;
and he shall magnify [himself] in his heart, and by peace shall
destroy many:
he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he
shall be broken
without hand. <g against> <g also> <g broken> <g cause>
<g craft> <g destroy> <g hand> <g heart> <g himself>
<g magnify> <g many> <g peace> <g policy> <g prince>

DAN 8:26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was
told [is] true:
wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it [shall be] for many
days. <g days>
<g evening> <g many> <g morning> <g shut> <g told>
<g true> <g vision> <g wherefore> <g which>
DAN 8:27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick [certain] days;
afterward I rose up,
and did the king's business; and I was astonished at the vision,
but none
