decree <DAN2 -:9 > But if ye will not make known unto me the dream,


  • [there is but] one {decree} for you: for ye have prepared lying and
  • corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed:
  • therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can show me
  • the interpretation thereof.
  • decree <DAN2 -:13 > And the {decree} went forth that the wise [men]
  • should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.
  • decree <DAN2 -:15 > He answered and said to Arioch the king's
  • captain, Why [is] the {decree} [so] hasty from the king? Then Arioch
  • made the thing known to Daniel.
  • decree <DAN3 -:10 > Thou, O king, hast made a {decree}, that every
  • man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut,
  • psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, shall fall down and
  • worship the golden image:
  • decree <DAN3 -:29 > Therefore I make a {decree}, That every people,
  • nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of
  • Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their
  • houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that
  • can deliver after this sort.
  • decree <DAN4 -:6 > Therefore made I a {decree} to bring in all the
  • wise [men] of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me
  • the interpretation of the dream.
  • decree <DAN4 -:17 > This matter [is] by the {decree} of the
  • watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent
  • that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of
  • men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the
  • basest of men.

  • [is] the {decree} of the most High, which is come upon my lord the
  • king:
  • decree <DAN6 -:7 > All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors,
  • and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted
  • together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm {decree},
  • that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty
  • days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.
  • decree <DAN6 -:8 > Now, O king, establish the {decree}, and sign the
  • writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes
  • and Persians, which altereth not.
  • decree <DAN6 -:9 > Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the
  • {decree}.
  • decree <DAN6 -:12 > Then they came near, and spake before the king
  • concerning the king's {decree}; Hast thou not signed a decree, that
  • every man that shall ask [a petition] of any God or man within
  • thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of
  • lions? The king answered and said, The thing [is] true, according to
  • the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
  • decree <DAN6 -:12 > Then they came near, and spake before the king
  • concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a {decree}, that
  • every man that shall ask [a petition] of any God or man within
  • thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of
  • lions? The king answered and said, The thing [is] true, according to
  • the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
  • decree <DAN6 -:13 > Then answered they and said before the king,
  • That Daniel, which [is] of the children of the captivity of Judah,
  • regardeth not thee, O king, nor the {decree} that thou hast signed,
  • but maketh his petition three times a day.
  • decree <DAN6 -:15 > Then these men assembled unto the king, and said
  • unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians
  • [is], That no {decree} nor statute which the king establisheth may
  • be changed.
  • decree <DAN6 -:26 > I make a {decree}, That in every dominion of my
  • kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he [is]
  • the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom [that] which
  • shall not be destroyed, and his dominion [shall be even] unto the
  • end.
