1417 -duo or 2532 -kai three 5140 -treis witnesses 3144 -martus
shall every 3956 -pas word 4487 -rhema be established 2476 -
histemi .
:2 I told 4280 -proereo you before 4280 -proereo , and
foretell 4302 -prolego you, as if 1437 -ean I were present 3918 -
pareimi , the second 1208 -deuteros time; and being absent 0548 -
apeimi now 3568 -nun I write 1125 -grapho to them which
heretofore 4258 -proamartano have sinned 4258 -proamartano , and
to all 3956 -pas other 3062 -loipoy , that, if I come 2064 -
erchomai again 3825 -palin , I will not spare 5339 -pheidomai :
:3 Since 1893 -epei ye seek 2212 -zeteo a proof 1382 -
dokime of Christ 5547 -Christos speaking 2980 -laleo in me,
which 3739 -hos to you -ward 5209 -humas is not weak 0770 -
astheneo , but is mighty 1414 -dunateo in you.
:4 For though 1487 -ei he was crucified 4717 -stauroo
through 1537 -ek weakness 0769 -astheneia , yet 0235 -alla he
liveth 2198 -zao by the power 1411 -dunamis of God 2316 -theos .
For we also 2532 -kai are weak 0770 -astheneo in him, but we
shall live 2198 -zao with him by the power 1411 -dunamis of God
2316 -theos toward 1519 -eis you.
:5 Examine 3985 -peirazo yourselves 1438 -heautou ,
whether 1487 -ei ye be in the faith 4102 -pistis ; prove 1381 -
dokimazo your 1438 -heautou own selves 1438 -heautou . Know 1921
-epiginosko ye not your 1438 -heautou own selves 1438 -heautou ,
how that Jesus 2424 -Iesous Christ 5547 -Christos is in you,
except 1509 -ei me ti ye be reprobates 0096 -adokimos ?
:6 But I trust 1679 -elpizo that ye shall know 1097 -
ginosko that we are not reprobates 0096 -adokimos .
:7 Now 1161 -de I pray 2172 -euchomai to God 2316 -theos
that ye do 4160 -poieo no 3367 -medeis evil 2556 -kakos ; not
that we should appear 5316 -phaino approved 1384 -dokimos , but
that ye should do 4160 -poieo that which is honest 2570 -kalos ,
though we be as reprobates 0096 -adokimos .
:8 For we can 1410 -dunamai do nothing 5100 -tis against
2596 -kata the truth 0225 -aletheia , but for the truth 0225 -
aletheia .
:9 For we are glad 5463 -chairo , when 3752 -hotan we are
weak 0770 -astheneo , and ye are strong 1415 -dunatos : and this
5124 -touto also 2532 -kai we wish 2172 -euchomai , [even] your
5216 -humon perfection 2676 -katartisis .
:10 Therefore 5124 -touto I write 1125 -grapho these 5023 -
tauta things being absent 0548 -apeimi , lest 3361 -me being
present 3918 -pareimi I should use 5530 -chraomai sharpness 0664
-apotomos , according 2596 -kata to the power 1849 -exousia
which 3739 -hos the Lord 2962 -kurios hath given 1325 -didomi me
to edification 3619 -oikodome , and not to destruction 2506 -
kathairesis .
:11 Finally 3063 -loipon , brethren 0080 -adephos ,
farewell 5463 -chairo . Be perfect 2675 -katartizo , be of good
comfort 3870 -parakaleo , be of one 0846 -autos mind 5426 -
phroneo , live 1514 -eireneuo in peace 1518 -eirenopoios ; and
the God 2316 -theos of love 0026 -agape and peace 1515 -eirene
shall be with you.
:12 Greet 0782 -aspazomai one 0240 -allelon another 0240 -
allelon with an holy 0040 -hagios kiss 5370 -philema .
:13 All 3956 -pas the saints 0040 -hagios salute 0782 -
aspazomai you.
:14 The grace 5485 -charis of the Lord 2962 -kurios Jesus
2424 -Iesous Christ 5547 -Christos , and the love 0026 -agape of
God 2316 -theos , and the communion 2842 -koinonia of the Holy
0040 -hagios Ghost 4151 -pneuma , [be] with you all 3956 -pas .
