-gnorizo you to wit 1107 -gnorizo of the grace 5485 -charis of
God 2316 -theos bestowed 1325 -didomi on 1722 -en the churches
1577 -ekklesia of Macedonia 3109 -Makedonia ;
:2 How that in a great 4183 -polus trial 1382 -dokime of
affliction 2347 -thlipsis the abundance 4050 -perisseia of their
joy 5479 -chara and their deep 0899 -bathos poverty 4432 -
ptocheia abounded 4052 -perisseuo unto the riches 4149 -ploutos
of their liberality 0572 -haplotes .
:3 For to [their] power 1411 -dunamis , I bear 3140 -
martureo record 3140 -martureo , yea, and beyond 5228 -huper
[their] power 1411 -dunamis [they were] willing 0830 -
authairetos of themselves 0830 -authairetos ;
:4 Praying 1189 -deomai us with much 4183 -polus intreaty
3874 -paraklesis that we would receive 1209 -dechomai the gift
5485 -charis , and [take upon us] the fellowship 2842 -koinonia
of the ministering 1248 -diakonia to the saints 0040 -hagios .
:5 And [this they did], not as we hoped 1679 -elpizo , but
first 4412 -proton gave 1325 -didomi their own selves 1438 -
heautou to the Lord 2962 -kurios , and unto us by the will 2307 -
thelema of God 2316 -theos .
:6 Insomuch 1519 -eis that we desired 3870 -parakaleo
Titus 5103 -Titos , that as he had begun 4278 -proenarchomai ,
so 3779 -houto he would also 2532 -kai finish 2005 -epiteleo in
you the same 0846 -autos grace 5485 -charis also 2532 -kai .
:7 Therefore 0235 -alla , as ye abound 4052 -perisseuo in
every 0376 -anaperos [thing, in] faith 4102 -pistis , and
utterance 3056 -logos , and knowledge 1108 -gnosis , and [in]
all 3956 -pas diligence 4710 -spoude , and [in] your 5209 -humas
love 0026 -agape to us, [see] that ye abound 4052 -perisseuo in
this 5124 -touto grace 5485 -charis also 2532 -kai .
:8 I speak 3004 -lego not by commandment 2003 -epitage ,
but by occasion 1223 -dia of the forwardness 4710 -spoude of
others 2087 -heteros , and to prove 1381 -dokimazo the sincerity
1103 -gnesios of your 5212 -humeteros love 0026 -agape .
:9 For ye know 1097 -ginosko the grace 5485 -charis of our
Lord 2962 -kurios Jesus 2424 -Iesous Christ 5547 -Christos ,
that, though he was rich 4145 -plousios , yet for your 5216 -
humon sakes he became 4433 -ptocheuo poor 4433 -ptocheuo , that
ye through his poverty 4432 -ptocheia might be rich 4147 -
plouteo .
:10 And herein 5129 -toutoi I give 1325 -didomi [my]
advice 1106 -gnome : for this 5124 -touto is expedient 4851 -
sumphero for you, who 3748 -hostis have begun 4278 -
proenarchomai before 4278 -proenarchomai , not only 3440 -monon

:11 Now 3570 -nuni therefore 2532 -kai perform 2005 -
epiteleo the doing 4160 -poieo [of it]; that as [there was] a
readiness 4288 -prothumia to will 2309 -thelo , so 3779 -houto
[there may be] a performance 2005 -epiteleo also 2532 -kai out
of that which ye have 2192 -echo .
:12 For if there 1487 -ei be first 4295 -prokeimai a
willing 4288 -prothumia mind 4288 -prothumia , [it is] accepted
2144 -euprosdektos according 2526 -katholikos and 2526 katho to
that a man 5100 -tis hath 2192 -echo , [and] not according 2526 -
katholikos and 2526 katho to that he hath 2192 -echo not.
:13 For [I mean] not that other 0243 -allos men be eased
0425 -anesis , and ye burdened 2347 -thlipsis :
:14 But by an equality 2471 -isotes , [that] now 3568 -nun
at 1722 -en this 3568 -nun time 2540 -kairos your 5216 -humon
abundance 4051 -perisseuma [may be a supply] for their want 5303
-husterema , that their abundance 4051 -perisseuma also 2532 -
kai may be [a supply] for your 5216 -humon want 5303 -husterema :
that there may be equality 2471 -isotes :
:15 As it is written 1125 -grapho , He that [had gathered]
much 4183 -polus had nothing 3756 -ou over 4121 -pleonazo ; and
he that [had gathered] little 3641 -oligos had no 3756 -ou lack
1641 -elattoneo .
:16 But thanks 5485 -charis [be] to God 2316 -theos ,
which 3588 -ho put 1325 -didomi the same 0846 -autos earnest
4710 -spoude care 4710 -spoude into 1722 -en the heart 2588 -
kardia of Titus 5103 -Titos for you.
:17 For indeed 3303 -men he accepted 1209 -dechomai the
exhortation 3874 -paraklesis ; but being 5225 -huparcho more
4707 -spoudaioteros forward 4707 -spoudaioteros , of his own
0830 -authairetos accord 0830 -authairetos he went 1831 -
exerchomai unto you.
:18 And we have sent 4842 -sumpempo with him the brother
0080 -adephos , whose 3739 -hos praise 1868 -epainos [is] in the
gospel 2098 -euaggelion throughout 1223 -dia all 3956 -pas the
churches 1577 -ekklesia ;
:19 And not [that] only 3440 -monon , but who was also
2532 -kai chosen 5500 -cheirotoneo of the churches 1577 -
ekklesia to travel 4898 -sunekdemos with us with this 5124 -
touto grace 5485 -charis , which 3588 -ho is administered 1247 -
diakoneo by us to the glory 1391 -doxa of the same 3778 -houtos
Lord 2962 -kurios , and [declaration of] your 5216 -humon ready

:20 Avoiding 4724 -stello this 5124 -touto , that no 3361 -
me man 5100 -tis should blame 3469 -momaomai us in this 5026 -
taute abundance 0100 -hadrotes which 3588 -ho is administered
1247 -diakoneo by us:
:21 Providing 4306 -pronoeo for honest 2570 -kalos things,
not only 3440 -monon in the sight 1799 -enopion of the Lord 2962
-kurios , but also 2532 -kai in the sight 1799 -enopion of men
0444 -anthropos .
:22 And we have sent 4842 -sumpempo with them our brother
0080 -adephos , whom 3739 -hos we have oftentimes 4178 -pollakis
proved 1381 -dokimazo diligent 4705 -spoudaios in many 4183 -
polus things, but now 3570 -nuni much 4183 -polus more 4707 -
spoudaioteros diligent 4707 -spoudaioteros , upon the great 4183
-polus confidence 4006 -pepoithesis which 3588 -ho [I have] in
you.
:23 Whether 1535 -eite [any do enquire] of Titus 5103 -
Titos , [he is] my partner 2844 -koinonos and fellowhelper 4904 -
sunergos concerning 1519 -eis you: or 1535 -eite our brethren
0080 -adephos [be enquired of, they are] the messengers 0652 -
apostolos of the churches 1577 -ekklesia , [and] the glory 1391 -
doxa of Christ 5547 -Christos .
:24 Wherefore 3767 -oun shew 1731 -endeiknumi ye to them,
and before 4383 -prosopon the churches 1577 -ekklesia , the
proof 1732 -endeixis of your 5216 -humon love 0026 -agape , and
of our boasting 2746 -kauchesis on 5228 -huper your 5216 -humon
behalf 5228 -huper .
