:1 After <G 3326> this <G 5023> I looked <G 1492>, and, behold

<G 2400>, a door

<G 2374> [was] opened <G 0455> in heaven <G 3772>: and the first

<G 4413> voice

<G 5456> which <G 3739> I heard <G 0191> [was] as it were of a

trumpet <G 4536>

talking <G 2980> with me; which said <G 3004>, Come <G 0305> up

hither <G 5602>,

and I will shew <G 1166> thee things which <G 3739> must <G

1163> be hereafter

<G 5023>.

:2 And immediately <G 2112> I was in the spirit <G 4151>: and,

behold <G 2400>,

a throne <G 2362> was set <G 2749> in heaven <G 3772>, and [one]

sat <G 2521> on

<G 1909> the throne <G 2362>.

:3 And he that sat <G 2521> was to look <G 3706> upon like <G

3664> a jasper <G

2393> and a sardine <G 4555> stone <G 3037>: and [there was] a

rainbow <G 2463>

round <G 2943> about <G 2943> the throne <G 2362>, in sight <G

3706> like <G

3664> unto an emerald <G 4664>.

:4 And round <G 2943> about <G 2943> the throne <G 2362> [were]

four <G 5064>

and twenty <G 1501> seats <G 2362>: and upon the seats <G 2362>

I saw <G 1492>

four <G 5064> and twenty <G 1501> elders <G 4245> sitting <G

2521>, clothed <G

4016> in white <G 3022> raiment <G 2440>; and they had <G 2192>

on <G 1909>

their heads <G 2776> crowns <G 4735> of gold <G 5552>.

:5 And out of the throne <G 2362> proceeded <G 1607> lightnings

<G 0796> and

thunderings <G 1027> and voices <G 5456>: and [there were] seven

<G 2033> lamps

<G 2985> of fire <G 4442> burning <G 2545> before <G 1799> the

throne <G 2362>,

which <G 3739> are the seven <G 2033> Spirits <G 4151> of God <G

2316>.

:6 And before <G 1799> the throne <G 2362> [there was] a sea <G

2281> of glass

<G 5193> like <G 3664> unto crystal <G 2930>: and in the midst

<G 3319> of the

throne <G 2362>, and round <G 2943> about <G 2943> the throne <G

2362>, [were]

four <G 5064> beasts <G 2226> full <G 1073> of eyes <G 3788>

before <G 1715> and

behind <G 3693>.

:7 And the first <G 4413> beast <G 2226> [was] like <G 3664> a

lion <G 3023>,

and the second <G 1208> beast <G 2226> like <G 3664> a calf <G

3448>, and the

third <G 5154> beast <G 2226> had <G 2192> a face <G 4383> as a

man <G 0444>,

and the fourth <G 5067> beast <G 2226> [was] like <G 3664> a

flying <G 4072>

eagle <G 0105>.

:8 And the four <G 5064> beasts <G 2226> had <G 2192> each <G

0303> of them six

<G 1803> wings <G 4420> about <G 2943> [him]; and [they were]

full <G 1073> of

eyes <G 3788> within <G 2081>: and they rest <G 0372> not day <G

2250> and night

<G 3571>, saying <G 3004>, Holy <G 0040>, holy <G 0040>, holy <G

0040>, Lord <G

2962> God <G 2316> Almighty <G 3841>, which <G 3588> was, and is,

and is to come

<G 2064>.

:9 And when <G 3752> those <G 3588> beasts <G 2226> give <G

1325> glory <G

1391> and honour <G 5092> and thanks <G 2169> to him that sat <G

2521> on <G

1909> the throne <G 2362>, who <G 3588> liveth <G 2198> for ever

<G 0165> and

ever <G 0165>,

:10 The four <G 5064> and twenty <G 1501> elders <G 4245> fall

<G 4098> down

before <G 1799> him that sat <G 2521> on <G 1909> the throne <G

2362>, and

worship <G 4352> him that liveth <G 2198> for ever <G 0165> and

ever <G 0165>,

and cast <G 0906> their crowns <G 4735> before <G 1799> the

throne <G 2362>,

saying <G 3004>,

:11 Thou art <G 1488> worthy <G 0514>, O Lord <G 2962>, to

receive <G 2983>

glory <G 1391> and honour <G 5092> and power <G 1411>: for thou

hast created <G

2936> all <G 3956> things, and for thy pleasure <G 2307> they

are and were

created <G 2936>.
