DANIEL CHAPTER 10
DAN 10:1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was
revealed unto
Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing [was]
true, but the
time appointed [was] long:and he understood the thing, and had
understanding
of the vision. <g appointed> <g belteshazzar> <g called> <g
cyrus>
<g daniel> <g had> <g king> <g long> <g name> <g persia>
<g revealed> <g thing> <g third> <g time> <g true>
<g understanding> <g understood> <g vision> <g whose> <g year>
DAN 10:2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
<g daniel>
<g days> <g full> <g mourning> <g those> <g three>
<g weeks>
DAN 10:3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in
my mouth, neither
did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were
fulfilled. <g all>
<g anoint> <g ate> <g bread> <g came> <g did> <g flesh>
<g fulfilled> <g mouth> <g myself> <g neither> <g no>
<g nor> <g pleasant> <g three> <g till> <g weeks>
<g whole> <g wine>
DAN 10:4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month,
as I was by the
side of the great river, which [is] Hiddekel; <g day> <g first>
<g four> <g great> <g hiddekel> <g month> <g river>
<g side> <g twentieth> <g which>
DAN 10:5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a
certain man clothed
in linen, whose loins [were] girded with fine gold of Uphaz:<g
behold>
<g certain> <g clothed> <g eyes> <g fine> <g girded>
<g gold> <g lifted> <g linen> <g loins> <g looked> <g man>
<g mine> <g then> <g uphaz> <g whose> <g with>
DAN 10:6 His body also [was] like the beryl, and his face as the
appearance of
lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his
feet like in colour
to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of
a multitude.
<g also> <g appearance> <g arms> <g beryl> <g body>
<g brass> <g colour> <g eyes> <g face> <g feet> <g fire>
<g lamps> <g lightning> <g like> <g multitude> <g polished>
<g voice> <g words>
DAN 10:7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision:for the men that were
with me saw not
the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they
fled to hide
themselves. <g alone> <g daniel> <g fell> <g fled> <g great>
<g hide> <g men> <g quaking> <g saw> <g so> <g themselves>
<g vision> <g with>
DAN 10:8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision,
and there remained
no strength in me:for my comeliness was turned in me into
corruption, and I
retained no strength. <g alone> <g comeliness> <g corruption>
<g great> <g into> <g left> <g no> <g remained>
<g retained> <g saw> <g strength> <g there> <g therefore>
<g this> <g turned> <g vision>
DAN 10:9 Yet heard I the voice of his words:and when I heard the
voice of his
words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward
the ground.
<g deep> <g face> <g ground> <g heard> <g on> <g sleep>
<g then> <g toward> <g voice> <g when> <g words> <g yet>
DAN 10:10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my
knees and [upon]
the palms of my hands. <g behold> <g hand> <g hands> <g knees>
<g palms> <g set> <g touched> <g which>
DAN 10:11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved,
understand the
words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright:for unto thee am
I now sent. And
when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. <g
beloved>
<g daniel> <g greatly> <g had> <g man> <g now> <g said>
<g sent> <g speak> <g spoken> <g stand> <g stood> <g this>
<g trembling> <g understand> <g upright> <g when> <g word>
<g words>
DAN 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel:for from the
first day that thou
didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself
before thy God, thy
words were heard, and I am come for thy words. <g before> <g
chasten>
<g come> <g daniel> <g day> <g didst> <g fear> <g first>
<g god> <g heard> <g heart> <g said> <g set> <g then>
<g thine> <g thyself> <g understand> <g words>
DAN 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me
one and twenty
days:but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me;
and I remained
there with the kings of Persia. <g came> <g chief> <g days>
<g help> <g kings> <g kingdom> <g lo> <g michael> <g one>
<g persia> <g prince> <g princes> <g remained> <g there>
<g twenty> <g with> <g withstood>
DAN 10:14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall
befall thy people in
the latter days:for yet the vision [is] for [many] days. <g
befall>
<g come> <g days> <g latter> <g make> <g many> <g now>
<g people> <g understand> <g vision> <g what> <g yet>
DAN 10:15 And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my
face toward the
ground, and I became dumb. <g became> <g dumb> <g face> <g
ground>
<g had> <g set> <g spoken> <g such> <g toward> <g when>
<g words>
DAN 10:16 And, behold, [one] like the similitude of the sons of
men touched my
lips:then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that
stood before me,
O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I
have retained no
strength. <g are> <g before> <g behold> <g have> <g him>
<g like> <g lips> <g lord> <g men> <g mouth> <g no>
<g one> <g opened> <g retained> <g said> <g similitude>
<g sons> <g sorrows> <g spake> <g stood> <g strength>
<g then> <g touched> <g turned> <g vision>
DAN 10:17 For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this
my lord? for as
for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is
there breath left
in me. <g breath> <g can> <g how> <g left> <g lord>
<g neither> <g no> <g remained> <g servant> <g straightway>
<g strength> <g talk> <g there> <g this> <g with>
DAN 10:18 Then there came again and touched me [one] like the
appearance of a
man, and he strengthened me, <g again> <g appearance> <g came>
<g like> <g man> <g one> <g strengthened> <g then>
<g there> <g touched>
DAN 10:19 And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not:peace [be]
unto thee, be
strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was
strengthened, and
said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. <g
beloved>
<g fear> <g greatly> <g had> <g hast> <g let> <g lord>
<g man> <g peace> <g said> <g speak> <g spoken>

DAN 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee?
and now will I
return to fight with the prince of Persia:and when I am gone
forth, lo, the
prince of Grecia shall come. <g come> <g fight> <g forth> <g
gone>
<g grecia> <g knowest> <g lo> <g now> <g persia>
<g prince> <g return> <g said> <g then> <g when>
<g wherefore> <g will> <g with>
DAN 10:21 But I will show thee that which is noted in the
scripture of truth:and
[ there is] none that holdeth with me in these things, but
Michael your prince.
<g holdeth> <g michael> <g none> <g noted> <g prince>
