decree <DAN2 -:9 > But if ye will not make known unto me the

dream, [there is but] one {decree} for you: for ye have prepared

lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be

changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye

can show me the interpretation thereof.

decree <DAN2 -:13 > And the {decree} went forth that the wise

[men] should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to

be slain.

decree <DAN2 -:15 > He answered and said to Arioch the king's

captain, Why [is] the {decree} [so] hasty from the king? Then

Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.

decree <DAN3 -:10 > Thou, O king, hast made a {decree}, that

every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp,

sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of music, shall

fall down and worship the golden image:

decree <DAN3 -:29 > Therefore I make a {decree}, That every

people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss

against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut

in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because

there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

decree <DAN4 -:6 > Therefore made I a {decree} to bring in all

the wise [men] of Babylon before me, that they might make known

unto me the interpretation of the dream.

decree <DAN4 -:17 > This matter [is] by the {decree} of the

watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the

intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the

kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth

up over it the basest of men.

decree <DAN4 -:24 > This [is] the interpretation, O king, and

this [is] the {decree} of the most High, which is come upon my

lord the king:

decree <DAN6 -:7 > All the presidents of the kingdom, the

governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains,

have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to

make a firm {decree}, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any

God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be

cast into the den of lions.

decree <DAN6 -:8 > Now, O king, establish the {decree}, and sign

the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the

Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

decree <DAN6 -:9 > Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and

the {decree}.

decree <DAN6 -:12 > Then they came near, and spake before the

king concerning the king's {decree}; Hast thou not signed a

decree, that every man that shall ask [a petition] of any God or

man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into

the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing [is]

true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which

altereth not.

decree <DAN6 -:12 > Then they came near, and spake before the

king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a

{decree}, that every man that shall ask [a petition] of any God

or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast

into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing

[is] true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which

altereth not.

decree <DAN6 -:13 > Then answered they and said before the king,

That Daniel, which [is] of the children of the captivity of

Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the {decree} that thou

hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

decree <DAN6 -:15 > Then these men assembled unto the king, and

said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and

Persians [is], That no {decree} nor statute which the king

establisheth may be changed.

decree <DAN6 -:26 > I make a {decree}, That in every dominion of

my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he

[is] the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom

[that] which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion [shall be

even] unto the end.
