they <DAN1 -:4 > Children in whom [was] no blemish, but well
favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge,
and understanding science, and such as [had] ability in them to
stand in the king's palace, and whom {they} might teach the
learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
they <DAN1 -:5 > And the king appointed them a daily provision
of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so
nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof {they}
might stand before the king.
they <DAN1 -:16 > Thus Melzar took away the portion of their
meat, and the wine that {they} should drink; and gave them pulse.
they <DAN1 -:19 > And the king communed with them; and among
them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and
Azariah: therefore stood {they} before the king.
they <DAN2 -:2 > Then the king commanded to call the magicians,
and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for
to show the king his dreams. So {they} came and stood before the
king.
they <DAN2 -:7 > {They} answered again and said, Let the king
tell his servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation
of it.
they <DAN2 -:13 > And the decree went forth that the wise [men]
should be slain; and {they} sought Daniel and his fellows to be
slain.
they <DAN2 -:18 > That {they} would desire mercies of the God of
heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows
should not perish with the rest of the wise [men] of Babylon.
they <DAN2 -:43 > And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry
clay, {they} shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but
they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed
with clay.
they <DAN2 -:43 > And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry
clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but
{they} shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not
mixed with clay.
they <DAN2 -:46 > Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his
face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that {they} should
offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.
they <DAN3 -:3 > Then the princes, the governors, and captains,
the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and
all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the
dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up;
and {they} stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
they <DAN3 -:9 > {They} spake and said to the king
Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.
they <DAN3 -:12 > There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over
the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: {they}
serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast
set up.
they <DAN3 -:13 > Then Nebuchadnezzar in [his] rage and fury
commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then {they}
brought these men before the king.
they <DAN3 -:19 > Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the
form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego: [therefore] he spake, and commanded that {they} should
heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be
heated.
they <DAN3 -:24 > Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and
rose up in haste, [and] spake, and said unto his counsellors,
Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?
{They} answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
they <DAN3 -:25 > He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose,
walking in the midst of the fire, and {they} have no hurt; and
the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
they <DAN3 -:28 > Then] Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed
[be] the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent
his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and
have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that
{they} might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
they <DAN4 -:6 > Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the
wise [men] of Babylon before me, that {they} might make known
unto me the interpretation of the dream.
they <DAN4 -:7 > Then came in the magicians, the astrologers,
the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dream before
them; but {they} did not make known unto me the interpretation
thereof.
they <DAN4 -:25 > That they shall drive thee from men, and thy
dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall
make thee to eat grass as oxen, and {they} shall wet thee with
the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till
thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and
giveth it to whomsoever he will.
they <DAN4 -:25 > That they shall drive thee from men, and thy
dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and {they} shall
make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the
dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou
know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth
it to whomsoever he will.
they <DAN4 -:25 > That {they} shall drive thee from men, and thy
dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall
make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the
dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou
know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth
it to whomsoever he will.
they <DAN4 -:26 > And whereas {they} commanded to leave the
stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee,
after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.
they <DAN4 -:32 > And they shall drive thee from men, and thy
dwelling [shall be] with the beasts of the field: {they} shall
make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over
thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom
of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
they <DAN4 -:32 > And {they} shall drive thee from men, and thy
dwelling [shall be] with the beasts of the field: they shall
make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over
thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom
of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
they <DAN5 -:3 > Then {they} brought the golden vessels that
were taken out of the temple of the house of God which [was] at
Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his
concubines, drank in them.
they <DAN5 -:4 > {They} drank wine, and praised the gods of gold,
and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.
they <DAN5 -:8 > Then came in all the king's wise [men]: but
{they} could not read the writing, nor make known to the king
the interpretation thereof.
they <DAN5 -:15 > And now the wise [men], the astrologers, have
been brought in before me, that {they} should read this writing,
and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they
could not show the interpretation of the thing:
they <DAN5 -:15 > And now the wise [men], the astrologers, have
been brought in before me, that they should read this writing,
and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but {they}
could not show the interpretation of the thing:
they <DAN5 -:20 > But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind
