roots <DAN4 -:15 > Nevertheless leave the stump of his {roots}
in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender
grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven,
and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts in the grass of the
earth:
roots <DAN4 -:23 > And whereas the king saw a watcher and an
holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down,
and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the {roots} thereof in
the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender
grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven,
and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts of the field, till
seven times pass over him;
roots <DAN4 -:26 > And whereas they commanded to leave the stump
of the tree {roots}; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after
that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.
roots <DAN7 -:8 > I considered the horns, and, behold, there
came up among them another little horn, before whom there were
three of the first horns plucked up by the {roots}: and, behold,
in this horn [were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth
speaking great things.

[one] stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and
shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and
shall deal against them, and shall prevail:
