king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a

wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,

) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

Behold 2CH 34 24 Thus saith the LORD, {Behold}, I will bring

evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, [even]

all the curses that are written in the book which they have read

before the king of Judah:

humbled themselves; [therefore] I will not destroy them, {but} I

will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be

poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

by 2CH 29 15 And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified

themselves, and came, according to the commandment of the king,

{by} the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.
