Lebanon 2KI 14 09 And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah

king of Judah, saying, The thistle that [was] in Lebanon sent to

the cedar that [was] in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my

son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that [was] in

{Lebanon}, and trode down the thistle.

for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and had made them

{like} the dust by threshing.

have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any

more death or barren [land].

neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with

LORD 2KI 04 01 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of

the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my

husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the

{LORD}: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to

be bondmen.

time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my

{lord}, [thou] man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.

she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her

away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul [is]

vexed within her: and the {LORD} hath hid [it] from me, and hath

not told me.

twain, and prayed unto the {LORD}.

before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they

may eat: for thus saith the {LORD}, They shall eat, and shall

leave [thereof].

left [thereof], according to the word of the {LORD}.

Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because

by him the {LORD} had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also

a mighty man in valour, [but he was] a leper.

{lord} [were] with the prophet that [is] in Samaria! for he

would recover him of his leprosy.

Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and

the place, and recover the leper.

LORD 2KI 07 01 Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD;

Thus saith the {LORD}, To morrow about this time [shall] a

measure of fine flour [be sold] for a shekel, and two measures

of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.
