before 2KI 01 13 And he sent again a captain of the third fifty

with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came

and fell on his knees {before} Elijah, and besought him, and

said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the

life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.

sitting {before} him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the

{before} an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that

they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall

leave [thereof].

the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from

the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he

reigned a full month in Samaria.

Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.

began 2KI 16 01 In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of

Remaliah Ahaz the son of Jotham king of Judah {began} to reign.

began 2KI 16 02 Twenty years old [was] Ahaz when he {began} to

reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not [that

which was] right in the sight of the LORD his God, like David

his father.

{began} Hoshea the son of Elah to reign in Samaria over Israel

nine years.

as my lord seeth: but the water [is] nought, and the ground

the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.

perceive that this [is] an holy man of God, which passeth by us

continually.

Behold 2KI 04 13 And he said unto him, Say now unto her,

{Behold}, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what

[is] to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the

king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell

among mine own people.

mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her

afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, {Behold}, [yonder

is] that Shunammite:

{behold}, the child was dead, [and] laid upon his bed.

behold 2KI 05 06 And he brought the letter to the king of Israel,

saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, {behold}, I

have [therewith] sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou

mayest recover him of his leprosy.

{Behold}, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand,

and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand

over the place, and recover the leper.

{Behold} now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait

for us.

risen early, and gone forth, {behold}, an host compassed the

city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto

him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

behold 2KI 06 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee,

open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of

the young man; and he saw: and, {behold}, the mountain [was]

full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

behold 2KI 06 20 And it came to pass, when they were come into

Samaria, that Elisha said, LORD, open the eyes of these [men],

that they may see. And the LORD opened their eyes, and they saw;

and, {behold}, [they were] in the midst of Samaria.

behold 2KI 06 25 And there was a great famine in Samaria: and,

{behold}, they besieged it, until an ass's head was [sold] for

fourscore [pieces] of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of

dove's dung for five [pieces] of silver.

behold 2KI 06 30 And it came to pass, when the king heard the

words of the woman, that he rent his clothes; and he passed by

upon the wall, and the people looked, and, {behold}, [he had]

sackcloth within upon his flesh.

the messenger came down unto him: and he said, Behold, this evil

[is] of the LORD; what should I wait for the LORD any longer?

of Israel that are left in it: {behold}, [I say], they [are]

even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:)

and let us send and see.

host [were] sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O

captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To

thee, O captain.

that, {behold}, they spied a band [of men]; and they cast the

man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down,

and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his

feet.

they [are] written in the book of the chronicles of the kings

of Israel.
